Pioneer 580/5800 or Alpine 9856

My friend needs a cd player. She just wants something that will have an ipod input so she can listen to all that junk.

I want to make sure it's upgradable so both these units have 3 sets of preouts.

We need a dash kit and harnesses so i am thinking crutchfield will be the best but they sell the 5800mp not the 580mp which has the advanced crossovers but I guess she doesn't need that.

The pioneer looks better and it's got pink buttons(and she wouild like that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif )

but the Alpine has the highspeed alpine ipod control if that's good.

Any thoughts? Budget is $200. want warranty harnesses and dash kit for that price (maza protege 5)
