Yes, but not newer rap.

I do listen to a lot of rap made before the late 90s. Now I listen to more hip-hop, like Common but since he is starting to change some, I am find myself listening to the jazz songs him and Kanye steal for samples.

I am trying to really enhance the music I listen to daily vs. finding music to sound good on my setup. What becomes problematic is the better your gear, the more flaws you find.

All the old stuff was better then todays music.Back then it was more of a struggle for people to embrace rap music.Now its who can get the next one hit wonder on the radio to make the record excutives more money.

That is actually originally off of "trill' Bun B's solo album.

While I admit their newer stuff isnt as good as "too hard to swallow" and "riding dirty" they still have some good lyrics and their sound has always been the same.
