A man at the scene of a disturbance interceded and got another angry man to calm down, and begin talking. Soon after the police arrived the unfortunate good Samaritan was apparently manhandled, thrown to the ground and maced in the face by an officer as he tried to convey the situation to them. The man's wife, who also tried pleading with the police and tried to retrive her husband's glasses was also the subject of a forceful takedown in which she suffered cuts, bruises and a broken finger. The man was quickly hauled off the jail where he was soon released... after he was identified as Jerramiah Healy... aka (current) mayor Healy!

Thats one way of looking at the situation, from one point of view.

Or he could have been drinking the whole night, which he was.

Repeatedly told to stay away from the scene and leave, which he was.

Kept getting involved after the officers told him not to, and he didnt listen.

Unruly and resisting arrest after the officers placed him under arrest for interfering after being repeatedly told to stop, which he was.
