Pierce Audio

I have been lookin' around for a sub, that isn't TOO expensive, and has good quality. I know that most people would suggest Alpine Type R woofers, but I have never liked Type R woofers. I was scanning the net and came across Pierce Audio WMD (Woofers Of Mass Destruction) woofers. I was wondering if anyone has had any personal expiriece with these? Has anyone seen them in action? Are they a good sub for the price?
