Hotshot Monte Carlo President? Do you know anything about me? What is your point. I had numerous mornings getting phone calls; "Can you come get me, my car won't start;" "My car is losing it's take-off power;" "Dude said my catalytic convertor is gone;" "Man, I think I need a new ******, engine revving like crazy;" .........I really could go on and on. Then my infamous call to my wife; "Um baby, I think something slammed into my engine," only to find out that I threw a rod through my engine block. This was awful considering that my check engine light never came on.

Yeah because all of your friends have Monte Carlos.. If you drove a Kia and so did all your "club" members I'm sure you'd be getting the same calls just different cars.

Either that or you are just a blakkid down there

lmao at Earnhardt edition...I can't believe GM sold a Monte for more than $30K

That was the list price brand new. The new SS only goes for about $27K. I test drove that car and it's a handful. Passing people is just ridiculously easy. Steering is a little bit stiff, but I don't car. the seats were pretty comfortable, and viewing of the front and rear was easily attainable. I am trying not to buy a new car, but deg the new SS is bad azz. It's either that or I will have to cough up another $10K for a G35 fully equipped.

What monte carlos are you talking about here, the 5th gen or the 00 + ones ? I've had a 5th gen, and this is my second... uh 6th gen.

Well, the price we pay for buying used cars, you have no clue how the previous owner treated it. I apologize Matt for posting about irrelevant issues in your thread. The Monte Carlo will ALWAYS be the most appealing car to me period. Your Intimidator looks good. Take care of it, and hopefully it will do the same for you.
