used to have a 36" tunnel hull with a 7.5ci outboard which I clocked at 55mph then I had my 26" electric deep vee which only did about 30-35 but was fun to drive. I lost both boats in katrina and have been dieing to build a new one but just cant get the cash right now. I miss my tunnel though, that thing was nuts!

Bah, that sucked....and you still need batts for gas
I guess if you have the patience for tuning and breakin in and what not, i did not haha

I hardly ever tune my nitros. As long as they arent overly rich and keep a good temp theres no reason to touch the needles. Alot of people seem to play around with the needles just to get max performance every time they run. If your racing I can understand, otherwise its just a waste of time and more of a headache

this next one is pretty much the same set up I had with the 7.5cc It shows the speed these can achieve. I was only able to get 55ish out of mine before having to back off due to water conditions. I love rc boats

yea I was extremely bummed but promised myself one day Id build something bigger and better so Im just waiting on money to work out. Id like to play around with some cars but I grew up on the water so I love playing around with boats
