It's not the 2006 Hifonics that it is similar to...it's the 2606, but I can't find the ampguts link. It looks almost identical to me (to an untrained eye). Some people have said the input (or output) side is different, but to me it looks identical.

Right, I could see they weren't identical, mainly the HF lacks a few caps the AQ has, and I assumed it would be even closer to one of the bigger HF's, but since there were no larger ones to compare the 2006 gets the point across. Maybe it's closer yet to the 2608?

The point isn't to question the quality of the AQ's, b/c all reports seem to be they're great amps, but more to say - what would the reputation of the HF amps be if they were more accurately rated?
