USACi also has a larger competitor base unfortunately. Thus ralph has the means to throw up a huge show.

exactly. hence why he get's more manufacture's support than even other org's shows. He's great at advertising.

Not saying MECA is bad, but we have alot of guys attending USACi, and before you, only two Team guys that I knew of were going to MECA.

MECA has to do something to draw manufactures in. Not really the other way around.

But to have it on the same weekend as USACi WF was a tough call as well.

Well, just to be fair, MECA finals was scheduled for that weekend before USACi, about 8 MONTHS before usaci decided to have it on that weekend.

But alas, I'm alone on this subject it seems.

yea, I know Ralph kept making changes, then obviously he made the wrong call, or tried to take some 'lime light' away from MECA, don't know. But as you may know, with all the dbDrag stuff this year, we didn't support any of those shows.

He definitely got a lot more supporters than DB Drag this year...

I hope to see Maxxsonics come back next year as well. I know they weren't pleased with USACi this year, and stiers had mentioned to me about coming back to MECA. So we'll see.

If a manufacture attends a show, where 90% of people in attendance are "one branded" already competitors, it's not smart marketing money.

While I don't understand Omaha, it's a change from KC.

Wayne needs a US WF, and a European WF, with so many variables across the US, it may never be truely 'fair', IMHO.

I think 2 locations in the U.S. would work out well. I know there were 70+ competitors in cali, which is a far cry from the handful of cali competitors that came to louisville. Now florida on the other hand was a different story. Something like 20 competitors.

So close down the florida spot, bring it back to louisville (which was a GREAT venue) and have a spot out on the west coast so people don't have to drive 1500 miles.

Well, they weren't happy with both really. DB Drag with the multiple locations and USACi because of, well, the way USACi has been ran.

I don't want to speak entirely on his behalf though. I'm not in a position to do that.
