This amp has been proven to do as much power as 8 zx2500's (if you can't add, thats 20,000+ at 14v), with HALF the current draw. Read: more power with less strain. So basing it off current prices, the warhorse is actually CHEAPER.

Like I said, obviously this amp isn't for joe schmo in his daily driver ford escort. Kicker's amp prices have always been "high" in comparison to smaller companies, but the quality and customer service is top notch.

but with this, you wont need that much electrical because of efficiency. you need a hell of an elec. system, don't get me wrong, but nowhere what you would need if you ran different amps at 10kw

hell its not for me and probably the vast majority of people out there either.

The fact still remains you're not simply paying for the power. This amp is like no other amplifier out there.

You're not going to find another company that shares the same board like your so called beloved AB amps or DD amps or many more other amps.. this amplifier is the only one of its kind. And the amount of technology in it is simply astounding.

Would the only other comparable amp to this be the RF T15K? (no not the price tag, but) as far as technologies, and efficiency?

From the pictures, it looks like the WH is much smaller than the RF amp.

The only thing I don't like about the RF amp is it gets its power rating (15k) from a giant bank of internal capacitors. I'm curious to see what it's real power output is after that bank is drained out.

90% efficiency and rated at 2ohms. I'd give up my Atomics for one of these but sadly.... I got what I can afford.

Around 5kw when the caps are drained IIRC.
