PICS OF GUTS>>Will amp still work if I take out these lights?

The red and black wires connect to the lights that run across the top of the amp. They are simple plugs that plug right into the PCB board......

They are really long and if you look closely at the pics you can see where they sat on tops of the 4 big caps....dont know where to run them to keep them safe and away from heat.....plus...don't really need lights on an amp...i need every last joule i can get.

LED's use such little electricity you won't even be able to measure the difference.

 
well, this is really a function of the circuit. I've seen amps use an LED as part of a CCS that biases the amplifier. Without the LED, the amp doesn't work right.

but likely the LED is just an indicator.
