I didn't see the sub moving much (out of frame most of the time), but that ****er was moving some serious air lol. I know you went like OH SHIT when the paper got fully sucked into the port //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

LOL, ya i was suprised to see the paper go all the way in and come back out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The sub doesnt move much at all and puts out serious air, looking at it with my eye I could barely see the sub move but as you can tell by the video it was pushing out made air.

How do you record a more accurate sub excursion higher fps like 60? In that clip i just posted it was about 1/4 of the way up.

The vid for people who missed it...

Cool, thnx for advise i've got about 4 designs in sketchup right now, I just wanted to give a "mae port" a shot to see how it would sound. Gotta try everything once you know. I made sure to crss reference that site with my own calculations and it came out the same.
BTW I like all of your desgin's that you have posted up here. Hows that horn?
The wicked one turned out great.I want to play with modding it though.

Have you tried corner loading the woofer ?Usually you can get some more volume by loading it, like cabin gain
I may try that in another build. What location would "corner" mean, i was wondering if it would make a difference having the woofer mounted closer to the port?

In the corner of your room, try facing the wall, downfire ectPort placement, woofer placement.
Ahh yes, having the woofer and port face the back wall improved the sound greatly, the bass is more equally distrubited throughout the entire room.

I just have the box facing out for the video :p
