I had some extra mdf laying around the new home I'm building and decided to put it to use and make a couple of box's for some JL Audio 10's that I plan to use in a HT setup.

Here is the left over wood that I have to build with...

Overall Im very happy with the quality of the bass coming from the 10" JL W0. It's getting about 250rms and sounds great while watching movies and playing music. It really hits the lows well and is a perfect sub for HT use.

Let me know what you guys think,

Thanks!

Some of those panels aren't touching //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Ya, it looks that way, but there no air leaks anywhere and I made sure everything was sealed and cocked from the inside. This was kind of a spire of the moment build and I have enough wood to make about 4 more box's so I'm sure the others will be much better. Thanks for your honest opinion.

thats a beautiful house man. good luck moving in and all that jazz
Thanks!, Not moving in this is just an investment, a huge investment //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Did you consider rounding those ports? Might help with airflow...

Very nice build
Thanks!

Ahh good idea, I have a router with a bunch of bits, but I left it behind when I went to the job site of the new house to make this box. The next build I will def do that. What about making some small pcs in each corner of the port to help route air flow?
