Picking up static/ popping in my door speakers..

I am picking up alot of static/poping at higher volumes when I turn the bass up any ideas on what it might be or how to fix it?

Its only at a certain volume and not only when the bass hits.. When I dont have the subs in it all works just fine? I have no Idea what the problem is? any help?

Ground loop most likely, although I have the same issue and haven't been able to fix it.

I also have dedicated amp to battery and battery to battery ground connections.

What Part of the grounding system? I just redid every thing do I need to sand down paint off terminals and where they connect?

Oh and it was all fine untill I blew my sub amp, got it repaired, ran thicker wire, and new batterys.. If that has any thing to do with it.. what if I run a ground direct from the battery would that be a test?

Of course. But what I was saying is that I tried direct connections with nothing to interfere with the current and am still having issues...might help you, might not.

Oh ok.. its weird that now it has a bad ground when it was fine with the stock electrical

i have the same isue and i have complete seperate circuits from different alts and batts so with mine i am suspecting RCAs may be loose or they may need upgraded. but i very seldom turn up my mids and high enough to notice the pop.
