Picking out new Subs for a Viper D1200.1

Usually I pick power when I have the subs, not subs when I have the power!!

Well tomorrow my buddy is going to let me test out his 2 Rockford Punch HX2s in a spec built ported box and see how that sounds...

Well I got to demo the Rockford Punch HX2s tonight, sounded pretty good but I definitely want to hear the Type Rs before I make a decision...What kind of box would you put the type rs in with 600watts each?

Well I really liked the Rs I had before, I just dont know what size/box to put em in, I think last time they were about 2.0cuft tuned to 32hz, it was a different car so they still could sound different, Im going to see if I can go and test some out today...Ive looked into the RE SEs but there isnt a dealer around here to listen to them, and ive read the arguments between those and the Type Rs, and for the money I dont think the SEs will be that much better...

I am going to take a listen to them today and maybe test em out in my trunk, I was thinking about 15s but Id need more room/power...

im in the same boat as you man (concept cc-d1200a...same power as ur amp) trying to choose subs...id say go for the type-r's, the pioneer ones are sweet...but they wont really shine unless you have at least 2kwatts...i havent decided yet myself but im definitely leaning towards type-r's

Well TCAB is saying that the CVRs would do really good with my power too, I am really leaning on th Rs as of right now tho...
