Well I recently decided that I want to redesign my system and look for some different subs. I have a viper d 1200.1 (1200@1ohm) and I was had a few Ideas, 13W7, 15"Type R or 2 12" type Rs with Tcab. I am going to have about $500 I think to play with so what would you guys say? I used to have 2 12" type rs with an alpine mrd-m1005 in 4 cubes ported and that thing was **** loud, I currently have 2 Idmax 12s but I just dont really like the sound of them so I am planning on selling them soon...let me know what you think

I guess Im just leanin towards the Rs since I had them and loved them before, The Idmaxs just havent done it for me...As far as the RE's I dont have enough power for them, if I could sell me amp and get something bigger but I dont really want to shell out anymore money right now...

SEs would wang off of 1200.

How would they compare to type r or idmax...Like I said the Idmaxs were recommended because they were suppose to be really good, but they just dont do it for me I swear that my old setup with type rs were louder..

Idmaxes are not suited for SPL. Trust me I have went through several. The SEs should get just as load as the Type Rs with that power, and sound better to boot.

Well I think what I am really looking for are the Type Rs or the SEs I am much more into SPL, I was checking out the XXX but I think that Id need more power plus the SEs Id be driving optimal,What about the SXs? I just want to make sure I have a good match for the power I have...thanks alot for all of your input guys!
