picking out a new amp

alright im new here and need to know what kind of amp i need i got 2 kicker CompVR DVC 12" well i need 500WrmsX2 @ 1 ohm...now thats what i think it should look like but ill just tell u what i ned i need 500 watts rms going to 2 12" at 1 ohm

i got the 2 subs wired for 2ohms a piece

i think i need a 1 ohm not sure cuz im not sure how to figure out ohm loads but if someone can help u can IM me or just post in here thanx

did you get the 2 ohm version or the 4 ohm version?

For DVC 2 Ohm Version:

mono amp: 1000 rms @ 2 ohms or .5 ohms

2-channel: 500 rms x 2 @ 1 or 4 ohms

For DVC 4 Ohm Version

mono amp: 1000 rms @ 1 ohm or 4 ohms

2-channel: 500 rms x 2 @ 2 ohms
