Picking out a HeadUnit----- Need Help

Now I have read Sony doesn't make quality stuff.. Is that true or is it false because there head units seem to be the nicer looking ones... I have narrowed it down between the panasonic Panasonic CQ-DF903U and the sony m630. I know the sony only has 2v outputs and the panasonic has 5v outputs but I read that doesn't seem to make much of a difference, else I am mistaken. The sony is just nicer though witht he black active face/motorized to a nicer display then the sony. I have also looked at alpine h/u's but they don't appeal to me with the way they make that 4 button setup on the left side. Any input is great.

I've used a couple Sony decks in the past. My M670 was nice, skipped once in a while though. No reliability issues. Both the Sony and the Panasonic would get you by.

I assume you've looked at Kenwood, JVC, Clarion, Pioneer, and Eclipse as well ?

I've also used both Sony and Panasonic. Still run a CDX-M630 in my Tbird.

Great Unit- no problems at all.

Either would be a good decision.

just because a product is nicer looking definetly doesnt mean its a good performing one. Look into Alpine, Pioneer, Eclipse, clarion, nakamichi. I personally wouldnt touch anything else
