picking new amp.. stay with hifonics or better choice out there?

I ran a BXI2008D amp for 4 years and it did well on two 15 inch cerwinvega strokers wired at .5 but it lived its life.. and im rebuilding need advice on the newer hifonics series. I have been looking at the

ZRX3200.1D I know its over rated but at 250$ will it do a clean 2000rms at 1 ohms with a good power system? I want one amp on each sub that will give me a good 2000rms at 1ohms for one each sub.

Crescnedo Sound Qubed Rockford Fosgate OLDER Hifonics... There is alot better options out now I think I would even take audiopoop over new hifonics lower lines... Just stay on here and do some research and choose for youself best option then you are happy with what you purchase

one more thing! the BXI2008D was a beast at .5 but that was the only way I got close to 2000rms outa it.. I started with 2 of the amps on each sub but at 1ohms on each amp running a sub a peace I had 2 times the power draw with less output compared to one amp on 2 subs. im worried the newer hifonics amps cant go under 1 ohms

good place to start would be a sound qubed 3500.1 does 4300 rms @1ohm and will give around 4k at normal operating volatage

Soundqubed is the logical result of this discussion. Unless you shop around and get a pair of used saz2500s or nendo 2ks or older mb quart discus 2ks. But new go soundqubed

don't forget im running two 15 inch dule 2ohms subs... so with one amp i can wire em to .5 or 2 ohms... will the qubed 3500.1 run at .5?

All day on proper electrical. Buddy of mine runs his 2200 @ .5 daily and it doesn't even get warm. I wouldn't be afraid to run the 3500 at .5 at all.

that's what I wanted to hear... I hate running at 2 ohms lol... unless some one tells me the amp wont handle .5 ohms pushing 4k rms ima buy it!!!!!

fyi, you shouldn't base your decisions on what you want to hear, take every advice with a grain of rice and do your research, look for clamp tests and reviews on everything you buy.

i started this system back in 09 on this site lol.. i want to hear n e one who has a better idea on a amp for what im going for...FYI i been looking for my amp/amps for months i just now got back on this site after 4 years! so far for the price nothing can beat a qubed 3500.1...

if n e one wondering i have 4 Kinetik HC2400 all ran with 00 in the back so i have a decent electrical system.. thinking of going to 16 volt system after u guys make my mind up for amp/amps lol

As i said in the other thread. The Db Drive pd2000.1d will probly out do any of the amps mentioned above. Its rated 2000rms @ 1ohm and actually puts outs around 2500 @ 1ohm. And can be ran at .5 can do 3k+ rms there and can be burped @ .25ohm.

I have a small pile of burnt pd2000.1 boards if anyone wants them for $50 each I can say be careful where you buy them from I got screwed out of a g stack buying refurbs
