i un hooked my vlx and popped the orion in and it sound greatnot as loud but nice and clean with the eclipse i was only able to test on my bench on a set of old 6x9s and it playes great just hard to judge it

Ah! That explains it. I was starting to wonder if it had to do with keeping the power away from the output for a cleaner signal or something.
