I would have to agree with that.....

It drives me nuts I see COMPS and I think compressors for Pro-Audio not Components for car audio. THINK THE RIGHT FORUM THINK THE RIGHT FORUM, ok I'm better now...

listen to speakers you want in your price range. not ask which ones to get

Might luck out and have a local shop that has them. Or maybe finds someone who has them and listens to them. I can't condone buying speakers that you have never listened to because what sounds good to one person my sound like a toilet to another.

there are 2 shops here in town....one sells rockford and the other sells kicker ONLY, and since everyone here has 1 of the two, im not really interested in those 2 brands......any input on the 3 i listed?????thanks again

I agree, there's a reason 90% of old people think Bose is the best sounding shit ever....and they've heard it. If you have a general concensus that Boston Pro's, Diamond Hexs, Dynaudios, Morels, etc. sound good..... then they must be doing SOMETHING right.

Now I'm not saying that between 2 highly regarded sets you can't go wrong.... but anything we would recommend would KILL RF or most Kicker component sets.

Oh, of those I'd go with the Diamonds. I've heard the MB's and a different set of the CDT's and The MB's were too muddy in the mids.

the people in the rf shop are cool as to they'll sit around and chat about speakers and stuff w/out trying to sell you crap, and the other shop is mainly a truck acc. shop (lowering/lifting, exhaust, grills, alarms, etc...)I was looking forward to having matching sub/comps.........so the diamonds are pretty good right??any reviews?thanks!

would it be ok to push the diamonds off the 3002??i was looking at the manual for the m361's and it says the rms is 50 but on ^^ocs.com^^ it says 75-150????would i be overpowering them??
