pic of my groundpounder!!! 18 10's in trunk

but seriously... what kind of power are you running to require 5 batteries... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

hk4000s make 3600 at 14.4, my stock alt runs at 13.4 so i say 3200. hk4000 love power at all times and will shutdown if you don't keep it happy. I'll be upgrading my alt too. besides , when i was running 12 10s the load to the amp was 1 1/2ohms. the amp realy wanted a lot stable power then, but now that the load is at 2ohms it has not shutdown yet.,

what do those peak at 200W? most 2-3KW amps need maybe 2 batts.

you should trade a couple o' subs for some dynamat. or spray foam at least.

Nice setup slap, you already know how I feel about it. As long as it sounds good and makes you happy thats all that matters. I still got to catch up with you for a demo.

I think HALF the people insulting you dont know much anyhow. Those are decent lil woofers for the price, I think you simply need to use less or make a box for them to fire the same direction... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif up, otherwise thanks for posting pics.

I had (16) Panasonic 10's in my suburban on a Lanzar OPTI4000D. Did 148.9 dB @ 43 Hz.

Sorry, but that's not a 150dB setup

Not that it has anything to do with this setup, but IRC, I saw (32) 6x9's do a 151+ at Texas heat wave. . .It was pretty cool watching it.

mmm are the sub facing back atleast wired with reverse polarities to stop some cancelation?
They are in common airspace with drivers facing up and forward. . . .would not be a good idea to have drives in common airspace in a small area like that wired out of phase with each other. Does not matter which direction they face.

USACi - I know the vehicle was not sealed up, but I cannot remember where the mic was. It was pretty cool. I love the look of watching multiple woofers moving together. There were a lot of woofers!!! All sides of the box - front, rear, top, and sides!
