Well i have to agree with slap master. With my 18" BTL in my trunk, i had to loosen my plate on my impala. Wayy Less noise+ my tag was started to crack. Loosened it up and no more cracking+ less noise.

I just want to say, slapmaster, you got to ignore all these haters..I grew up down south in Mississippi and got to say, most people just dont know how we do in the dirty south.. I like a "clean sounding" "non rattling" system just as much as the next guy, but for a cheap get loud ground pounder I love your setup. I would love to have a car that has 3 layers of Dynamat and nothing but top of the line high quality equipment that has awesome SQ and can hit 160, but I would also love to throw a bunch of cheap subs and amps into a huge ride and see what i can get it to do just for fun, shits, and giggles.. congrats..Glad to see your having a good time doing it.. looks like your having fun. This is what its all about..later..

Do you have problems with your rear quarter panels / bumper? All I have is the 15" and holy shit all I hear is the rattle not only from the trunk but the **** panels.
