Hey guys, I've been trying to research which speakers to put in my Jeep & I can't settle on anything.

I work & attend college full time so I just want a nice little setup that isnt gonna take me forever to buy & get together. I already have my headunit (Pioneer Premier 480) subwoofer (Sundown SA-12) & sub amp (JL Audio 500/1v2).

I'm trying to find a nice little 2 or 4 channel amp & a set of components for my front doors that will be able to keep up with this sub, somewhat. Ideally I wanted to make a set of door pods for my components & kicks with mid bass in the floor....but that isnt realistic with my budget. I pay for my school & the apartment my girlfriend & I share.

I was looking at the Phoenix Gold RSD 6.5cs. Good choice? Didnt know if there was anything else out there better for about the same price. Also, will those speakers in my doors provide enoug output to keep up with my sub?

I paid around $200 for the sub (new) but got the deck used for $30 & the 500/1v2 like new for $100. Not wanting to go over $150-$160 for my front speakers & amp. The reason for this is I am going to get a large battery to replace the old Duralast & about $150 worth of Knu wiring. I'd rather have something simple to enjoy now rather than saving up forever while my sub sits in the closet.

I love mine. the midbass is awesome and the mids actually like a larger size airspace like a door instead of a smallish kikpod on the floor. Just seal up or deaden your door and sit back and enjoy. Well guys, change of plans. I went into a local pawn shop today, wasting time between classes, & I found a pair of Image Dynamics CX62 midrange drivers for $20. That's right, $20. This place is turning into a gold mine I have now gotten ID CX62 mids & a JL 500/1v2 for $120. Both in great shape. Now to find a nice set of tweeters to match up with these bad boys & an amp capable of driving them.
