I've read nothing but good about the RSdC series.

I'm really thinking about getting one to try. I just can't decide if I want 10" or 12"

Depends on how much power you have. You can get a flatter (out of car) response with a ported design if you tune it low (

I had a pair of rsdc 12" in about 2.5 sealed each. Running off an RSD1200.1 amp. NICE. hit pretty hard, articulate, doesn't do the lows very well, but will do 40hz on up really really well. You may not need separate midbass .

just got a cadence 1a9 which i'm using on an RE XXX 15" in a 5cu sealed box. install should be done by end of next week, I'll post up some impresssions.

I ran a RSDC 12" 2 ohm and it killed the lows, i had a box ported at 29hz 2.75 cu ft. The sub sounded GREAT, but it wont like 800w RMS on dynamic music (aka playing ~800w rms on everyday beats), if you tune the amp to 800w rms with a 0db tone, it will have zero problems handling that, but be careful because they dont have much xmech, too much inward stroke is easily accomplished with this sub with more power than rated.
