Phoenix Gold Xenon 1200.1

Any opinions on the Phoenix Gold Xenon 1200.1? I am thinking about getting 1 or2 of them for 2 Alpine Type R 12's (which will hopefully go into a TCAB box). Should I be looking more toward the 600.1, or is the extra $$$ worth it for the 1200.1.

I have looked online at Orion as well, but do not want to buy the refurb from Ikesound, and can't find any others for less than $800 or so. For about the same price, I can have 2 PG Xenon 1200.1 which will have about the same power and give me a little more flexibility if I change something in the set up.

I have not had any experience with these amps and am looking for some advice on these or something comperable in price and power.

Would 1200 RMS wach be too much for the type r's? I hear of people running that to them, but that seems like alot to me.

I've had mine for some time now and not a single problem, if you get 1 or 2 if them i reccomend a new alt.
