400 is the minimum it puts out i say it will probaly come close to 500 or a little bit more.

i just ordered an x600.1 and there's pics of birthsheets showing them doing 800+

if you're running it 2 ohm there's mod you can do to get full 2 ohm power (probably close to 1kW), if you do a search you should be able to find it.

i am not sure about the mod working for a x400.1, i think i read it works with the x600.1 and x1200.1

i thought it was for all Phoenix Gold Xenon mono amps.

But I could be wrong. I'm sure a quick search would bring up the answer.

Dont do it on a 400.1 it will not handle the heat. The 400.1 does not have a fan and it will over heat and you will toast it.

yes it will work... the amp may overheat. actually errin at pg strapped 2 of the 400's together and got near 2400 watts i believe from them.. and they ran for a few days before smoking

here is what errin said "It was actually AP'd at 2.7kW and slightly damaged at that point. "

and "There may be no free lunch but when 2 X400.1's literally shut Barney down due to current draw I have to say I am impressed. Also you say they will not work for more than a few minutes, we ran 8 subs at deafening hip-hop levels for 3 days without a heat or failure issue (remember the 400.1 has no fan) when the units actually failed it was do to an improper connection not component failure."
