Looking for something better to power my 12" L5. It can handle 1100w / 600wRMS.

This Phoenix Gold Ryval V8001 is rated at 1600w / 600wRMS. Would that work fine with my current sub?

I would think so yes. I've never seen a PG amp that didn't do rated power.
