My friend is lookin at these over a MTX T5510-44. The Phoenixs have a better response range and excursion but wants to hear how they sound first. His problem is that since they are fairly new, he doesnt know anyone with them yet. He's looking for a nice mix of SQ and SPL it looks like and it appears he's pretty dead set on one of these.

get the phoenix golds no doubt. i own both also the mtx does pretty good but not in the same league as the rsd
