How reliable are these, and is there anything I should be concerned with buying one used from a reputable seller? Any experience with them?

A lot of people on here, including me, buy used gear. Assuming it had everything set properly and the ohm load didn't go below recommended specs from the manufacturer, you should be just fine.

Been running one for about a year now, bought new for about $220. Ran it at

4ohm for a while and been pushing it at 2ohm for the past 4-5 months.

I emailed the PG Tech dept and was told it would run fine at 1ohm, but they won't warranty it at that load.

Seems to be a solid amp. Get the LPL44 for sure....
