Phoenix Gold M44 or PPI a404

Hey everyone. Im new here and I am putting together an old school sq system. I currently have a a600 for my sub and I am running a Alpine mrv-T500 for my comps. My comps are not old school but you cant see them in the door anyway //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/redface.gif.62fdbfe1a101588a808c4cff71bcb942.gif They are Polk MM6501. I also have a Phoenix Gold eq215x that will be getting installed.

I am looking for an amp to power my comps and my rear fill. I dont need as much power for the rear fill obviously but they need power cuz my Alpine CDA-7930 HU is comming and has no power.

Will the PG M44 or PPI a404 have enough power for my components? I know these are both quality amps so the power rating prolly doesnt matter as much. My Alpine is of old school as well, when they made good stuff, and it seems just a bit lacking as far as power goes for the mm6501's.

I am also looking at maybe getting an M50 for my comps and just running the rears off the t500 for now and then get a m25 someday. Or just an a404 to match the a600...Not really sure yet of what amp combo to go with yet.

Any Ideas anyone?

I have a nice M25 I may be selling soon...pm me if intrested...either setup should be nice...Ive ran both old school PPI and Phoenix Gold you can't go wrong with either

I have owned both as well. Can't go wrong with either of them. Run an M100 and a M44! Or purchase a PPI 606.2. 6 channel art amp.

What about the Memphis Belles? Are they good Sq amps or are they made more for spl?
