Phoenix Gold M44 help

Hey I bought a phoenix gold m44 but im having trouble setting it up. In the manual it shows how to set it up to multiple subs to a m25 and speakers but all I need it wired to is my 1 sub. The sub is a JL 12W7 with a kenwood 300 watt amp. Do I need the 300 watt amp to run the m44? and if so how should i set it all up?

JL uses that impedance for several reasons. One reason is for wiring three subs, you can achieve 2 ohm mono. The other is that their amps are rated at 1.5 ohms.

Any good 1 ohm stable amp will make a difference. Powerbass ASA 1001dx

^ Ya. I knew the final ind was 3ohm, I just thought they were DVC. Anyways, the M44 or the kenwood would not be the best amp/amps for this woofer. I will sell you my Kicker ZR1000 for $220 shipped. That will run the hell out of that woofer.
