i dont think that they are xmax. these just have a giant PG on the dustcap

if i remember right the xmax serie's was all black with a **** cone that had the pg logo on it

Sound like either Tantrum or QX series. The Xmax series had a carbonfiber cone and "Xmax" written on them in gold script. The QX match your description.

The description seems to be the qx series.. Go on pgs website and look. Pictures are available in the manuals online. Or you could just take a picture..
