PHASE LINEAR UV7I (Audiovox VM9311) parking sw not working correctly

My UV7i playing the video (DVD) correctly but I have the safety screen. I connecting the cable of parking sw to the hand brake sw but it is not working...What can I do?

Audiovox Costumer Service wrote me: The UV7i pink wire cannot simply be "grounded", it has a "ground sequence" that must be performed in order for video to be shown.

Help me , please
