whoa oxycotton way more potent than percocet. persoanl experience if you tryin to get ****ed up take a line of oxy. be carefull if u got both you dont want to over do it

basically oxycotton is the handsdown the stongest pain killer except morphine and heroin

actually, I saw a discovery channel show that stated that oxycontin is just a couple molecules away from heroin.....very close.
10mg of oxy is WAY stronger than the other. Alot of peeps chew them, to get the full amount of med's right away, as opposed to swallowing and getting it time released.

Oxycotin > Percs..
If you took about 80MG of Percs it would equal about 2.5MG of cotin.

An codine is not the same as cotin, I believe codine is basically a Tylenol 3.

Also as someone else said don't chew the oxycotin, you can and people have died from it. You need to let it time release as it was designed to do.. Infact if you get a legit prescription it has a big orange stick that says DO NOT CHEW, CAN DIE! or something to that effect.

take 12 oxy.....pretty much gurantee overdose unless you have a high tolerance

Both percocet and oxycontin have the same narcotic in them and that narcotic is oxycodone. Percocet is instant release and generally come as 5mg pills. Oxycontin is just the brand name for time release oxycodone. It comes in 10, 20, 40 and 80mg. It used to come in 160mg but they have stopped distributing the 160s.

Again all the above post are totally inaccurate and the posters are idiots who should stop posting and die.

To answer the OP, a 10mg oxycontin has the same amount of the same narcotic as 10mg of percocet.

its just that the 10mg of oxycontin is delivered over 12 hours (when taken whole) instead of being instantly released like 10mg of percocet.

If you crushed up a 10mg oxycontin it would be the same as eating 10mg of percocet; if you took the 10mg oxycontin whole it wouldnt be as strong because it would be delivered over 12 hours.

Another difference between percocet and oxycontin is that percocet contains acetaminophen (Tylenol) and oxycontin doesn't. Since it doesnt have the added tylenol, oxycontin is abused by snorting/injecting and has a higher street value.
