I finally got around to hooking up my new PG xenon 200.4 and it is putting out a little alt and starter noise, but when I had my old QUpix GHETTO amp it did not. I know crappy RCa can do it, but I have RCA that retial at $150 so thats shouldnt be the problem and there only 2 mnts old, and they are run on the oppiste of the car from the power line. But when I hooked up a old ground loop insolator to it the noise stopped. But I dont whant the ground loop isolator in there, and dont they affect the quailty of music too since ill be running a PG ti elite and PG xenon comp set.
Could the problem be because I have my second battier about 3 inches away from my amp, and the reason the old map wasnt makign the noise is because it was farther away from the battery? Bad ground, but its grounded to the second battier and that second battier is grounded to the frame of the car? and what else could it be.
