PG Ti12D Elite ~ Hifonics BXi 1606D

Will a Hifonics BXi 1606D sufficiently power a Phoenix Gold Ti12D Elite to its peak performance?

The Phoenix Gold Ti12D Elite will be wired for 2 ohms and the Hifonics BXi 1606D CLAIMS it does 1100 watts RMS @ 2-Ohms

I've read on the forums that some people say the BXi 16006D only does around 800watts RMS at 1.1ohms, if this is true then it looks like I would need way more power since I will be only at 2ohms.

If the amp is insufficient what else is available around $280-$320 range?

Hot Carl, you have owned a Ti12D Elite before, how do you think it will do with this amp?

What are some good box specs for a daily driver that wants good SPL at low hertz with some SQ?

I'm running a 1 month old new factory 100amp alternator with the BIG 3 and a yellow top up front. 0ga. all the way back. Should this also be sufficient for current going to the power hungry amp?

The ti elite is a very power hungry sub. With that being said I dont think your amp will be good enough for it. Ide run 1500-2kw to it dailly for best results.

As for box specs look up the specs on pgs website, that box they recomend works great. i think its like 2.75 ish tuned to 28 hertz. Check out pgs website.
