Tantrum FTW I have mine iwred to 1 ohm right now and it hasnt gone in to protect once and my birth sheet sheet was 1576

all tantrum amps are benched at 4 ohms and they put out the same power at 2-4 ohms

also i hope a knuconcepts 4 gauge wiring kit is enough. Id upgrade the speaker wire to 10 gauge though

it is for now but he might be putting in some speakers later in which we would do another run of 4 awg. Also doing the big 3

why would it matter if theres more than one amp if they have separate power wires

i you give each amp its own run of 4 gauge, no distro blocks, you'll be fine. if you run single 4 gauge then split it to each amp, not a good idea

The PG is a very solid amp. The JBL is an older model, still respectable, but not up to par with the PG IMO. The Viper is a budget brand from DEI and IMO it isnt even comparable to the PG or JBL. I have owned the Viper and wouldnt recommend it to anyone over the other two brands.

If you can get the JBL for much cheaper then the PG do it. If its reasonably close I'd go for the PG.
