Its rated for 500w rms 4 ohms bridgedwhat's it rated for?
If you where using a non sony 1,000rms amp you would be getting twice as fun...Its rated for 500w rms 4 ohms bridgedand 200w rms x2 4 ohms
And there isnt any problem? who said there was a problem. This sub hits extremely hard, i am extremely happy with it!!!
That's tuned pretty low for chest hitting bass, tune above 35hz. And what two subs are you comparing this setup to...? Aren't the RSDc pretty low cost? Maybe get another one and seal it...if you want to save space or don't have spaceWell i finally got my RSDC here and man does it hit!
I have it wired in at 4 ohm getting 500w RMS.
Its in a 2.75 cuft box ported to 29hz, this setup easily hits like two subs. Sadly though in my car it does not produce "chest cavity bass" It hits hard but not in my chest. I am extremely happy with this sub and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality subwoofer for a really low price! The sub is nice and loud but at the same time it has sound quality.
Tunning above 35 hertz with these subs would just be a complete waste. They aren't ment to be tuned that high, and more than likely would sound like crap. That's tuned pretty low for chest hitting bass, tune above 35hz. I was thinking about getting 2 RSDc 12"s and sealing it in 3^3ft, but I have too many setups already....
40 hertz:crap: I guess we all have preferences on what sounds good.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gifwell I have the 10" Rsdc's and they are tuned to 40hz. They really don't sound like crap. I had them in numerous enclosures, tuned low and high and I like this enclosure the best. Sounds loud and very good.
