I'd say 00-05 monte carlo with the 3800 series engine... great engines with a very large after market... or pontiac Grand Prix. There are a lot of them around, yes, but very few have had work done. The 3800 series really is a great engine. I have seen both super and turbo chargers available, and everything from cam shafts, to performace trannys, to dual piston brake upgrades and sway bar upgrades... ZZperformance offers a very large selection of parts, as does pfyc.com, Wbodystore, and 3800performance. They are bigger cars too, so pefect for someone your size. Im 6'0 and fit comfortably in my monte carlo.

What about a 240sx with a sr20 motor? Know a kid who bought the car for 1k and the motor for 3k then added an fmic and stuff... pretty quick for the price!
