it was like 80 inches over 4 days about 6 years ago if i remember correctlyfor those that live near a lake you know what im talkin about, but here in buffalo when we get a good SW wind up from ohio and the lake is open it just dumps like no other. we once had 7.5ft in 2 days and lots of 2-3ft storms. its crazy fun.
open meaning not frozen.its wide open and warm so any cold air that passes over it on a SW wind means where in troublelake open? wtf you smoking? explain
yea it was sick one day we go 35" and then it shifted north for awhile then moved back and sat for the rest of the nite and we got another 49". i couldnt get out my door the next day it was like we were groundhogs.it was like 80 inches over 4 days about 6 years ago if i remember correctly
we got a storm last year in october around the 5th and we ended up getting 23" in 6hrs while all the leaves were still on the trees. needless to say 200,000 people lost power some for a week and 75% of all the trees were totaled. i sat in a local park and it sounded like m80s going off everywhere with all the transformers and trees popping. its the earliest and hardest we ever been hit. now either there are no trees or the tops are all muffed up. just the type of shit the lake hands usPics or ban lol
Wish that lake effect stuff would make it all the way over to MA. Yesterday we got about 6" maybe over the course of 12 hours and nearly everything was shut down. Granted its pretty heavy and really killing the trees with all the weight but its only 6" over 12 hours not like it got dumped in like 3 hours and the plows couldn't keep up lol.
F-350's and snow are a match made in heaven lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif
x2. That little dusting we had a couple weeks ago is enough for me.Glad I live in TN where it may or may not snow at all.
Last year we got nothing at all it seemed this year we got hit pretty good in november lol and actually had a white christmas for the first time in many years. THEN last week it was in the 50's all week and meleted the 2' that was on the ground to nothing. Sunday I was outside working on my truck (running power wire) in 40° then come monday we get snow and high 20's lol. We got a saying around here, "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute" Just wish I lived in a place where the seasons were well defined. My friend was riding his motorcycle just this weekend , he doesn't even bother to winterize them or really put them away for the winter anymore cause ya never know when you will get one ridiculously warm day.we got a storm last year in october around the 5th and we ended up getting 23" in 6hrs while all the leaves were still on the trees. needless to say 200,000 people lost power some for a week and 75% of all the trees were totaled. i sat in a local park and it sounded like m80s going off everywhere with all the transformers and trees popping. its the earliest and hardest we ever been hit. now either there are no trees or the tops are all muffed up. just the type of shit the lake hands us

See if you can go outside and blow really hard in an easterly direction, send that snow my way lol.
No I mean for a year. The probability of snowing in your state is much higher than snowing in my state. So far, no real snow yet.good point....kinda like the rest of the world...
it might snow...
but, it might not...
Good thing tho!
i think it means not frozen over.
I see.open meaning not frozen.its wide open and warm so any cold air that passes over it on a SW wind means where in trouble
And you are moving to PA, I am sure it will snow often there.x2. That little dusting we had a couple weeks ago is enough for me.
thanks guy i wish that was my area. but i like winter sports so ill keep the snow. 80 sounds better than 30 though
