perfect cutouts for L7's?

Does anyone have any advice for perfect cutouts for L7's?

I was thinking of drilling out the corners and then using my router, maybe a jigsaw, but just wanted to see if anyone has a better method.

What you said will work fine. As long as there are no leaks, and your subs fit, thats a perfect hole.

yeah but this is for a double baffle, the subs are going to sit flush, and its going to get sprayed, so I need the edges and corners to be perfect.

Lay your sub inverted and trace around it, cut it out as best as possible and there you go.

I think i know what you mean bigwheel... but I don't see how that would work, wouldn't that make a hole too large, so that his sub actually fell through them? Forgive me if I misunderstood.

the owner of the sub says he wants to flush mount, meaning that there will be another piece of board material, which the sub will be mounted to. Then on top of that piece will be the piece that makes the sub flush with the box...which is the same diameter/cutout as the sub itself...
