Well, that's not always true. When I tried this, I lost a good amount of low end (sub 35hz) and gained some 45-55hz material and did not like that at all. It may have metered higher but it sounded terrible. I currently run sub back and port to the driver's side and it sounds great.^^Why not go subs up with the port going back? Just an idea and you might gain alittle dB...
