people with external voltage regulators:

Does your dashboard have an alternator/symbol blinking? Anyway to get around this?... Seems frustrating.

I was told theres noway to fix it because your not using the stock regulator so it thinks there's a problem with your charging system.

put a computer on it and clear the code. it might work or it might come back after a while

Theres also black tape too, but thats pretty ghetto

In most cases there is no way to keep the light off permenatly due to the vehicle seeing a fault in its electrical system. My Jeep check engine light is on as well due to the ext reg. No way to shut it off on mine. I just put a piece of black tape over the light
