anyone with an 03-06 tahoe use the onstar/chime module from PAC/Peripheral?

I have an 03 Tahoe with onstar and a Bose system in it now.

I plan to do my install soon, have the head unit, amps, subs, components and all that.

I dont care for OnStar and dont have the service but I would like to retain the factory chimes for door ajar, low fuel warning, overheating, etc.

a seller on another site has the following modules GMAH24 with relay and GMAHCM for sale

I'm not planning on using the Bose amp or anything like that...but will the GMAH24 module work with what I'm trying to do....I read what it does but I'm no expert and can't decipher if it will, they do have a GMAH24B (B designating Bose) version but again, I would like to bypass all the Bose stuff and retain my chimes.

Any pro installers out there or DIY guys who know about this. Any help will be appreciated.

i use axxess...and to be honest, best thing to do would be to retain all features for resale purpose...look up gmos 04

ohh my bad you want to bypass all that but keep chime? didnt read far enough lol...you want the gmrc-02...again by axxess, sorry

i checked it out i dont think that will work as the truck has OnStar and the Bose Premium sound...that unit is for GM vehicles without OnStar and without the Bose sound

I dunno.....if I dont use any of the modules at all, will it affect my visual driver information center on the instrument cluster? As long as those work and I don't lose the functionality of those, the chimes aren't a big deal.
