get big heavy tarp. place it over car. secure it to ground all the way around using big rocks. done.

Mice can squeeze through the smallest of holes. There is no way you can make it tight enough to prevent a mouse from slipping through.

there has got to be a hole somewhere in the car to let mice in....

maybe the drain hole where the spare tire is at ??? does it have any drain holes in the floorboard? most cars have a rubber grommet to plug those holes...it easy for a mouse to chew threw.....go and check it out..

yea your an idiot my neighbor who is a farmer makes more than you will in a year and he doesn't rent it out the farms it all, hes loadedddddddddddd and the money didn't come from his parents it came from farming he owns a 2009 truck and has like 2 2003 trucks and a new buick for his wife, all paid in cash, no piles of shit in there yard or anything like that redneck=white trash, redneck does not equal farmer unless the farmer also happens to be white trash

Yea I know of a bunch of farmers who are hella rich. They farm sugar beets and once the growing season is done they're on vacation 5 months out of the year and they all go to Vegas during the winter.

But the best thing to do is get a cat or 2 that should take care of it. And how did you buy a car for 1400 (I'm assuming it ran at the time) put 2000 into it and now it doesn't run? You weren't investing your money very well it seems like.

I am surrounded by cornfields too.The only thing that you can really do is put a few poison packets in the car.If that is the available food for them they will eat it.The tarp idea would not work.

get barn cats. a cat can catch a mouse so quick its unreal. sprinkle some rat poisen on the outside of the barn near the walls. last but not least, if its a project car, cover it with tarps both underneath and then a car cover over top. who cares if you scratch it. paint is easy.

moth balls they sell them at wal mart they'll eat it and die or it will keep them away can't remember which but it works put them on like a plastic plate on the floor and keep checkin on it refill plate if needed should help you out

Do not do this for any extended period of time.

The car will reek of mothballs, and you can't just "air it out" to get rid of the smell. The smell will be so strong that you will smell like mothballs after riding in the car.

I know this from previous experience.
