people that work out/supplements??

So, since this thread is up, I'll go ahead and ask here instead of making a new one...
What are some good beginner workout plans? Everything from sleep to equipment. Probably aimed more at getting my body fat % down while putting muscle mass on.
well just asking ..trying to help....what r u at now weight wise and how much do u excerise now as it is...and ill see where we can go from there

Eat 5-6 times a day. Drink 1+ gal of water. Don't train for more than 60 min (unless on steroids). Keep a journal and make a conscious effort to improve lifts (either more reps or more weight) every week.

I used to get all my supplements at bulknutrition.com, but have found the glory that is known as nutraplanet.com.

Don't mess w/ all the NO supps mentioned... waste of money (for gaining muscle). Supplement protein intake w/ a good whey protein (ON 100% whey is very common) and creatine monohydrate. Don't buy into the CEE craze... stick w/ the tried and true.

Also, you may want to look into the structure of your meals. As you know, there's more to it than just protein. Carb/protein/fat %'s, timing... all VERY important.

For the serious-minded, I recommend visiting AnabolicMinds.com/forum . Lots of friendly, helpful people there (including me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

And BTW, I've been weight-training for 12 years. 5'10" 225lbs. ~15% BF (bulking).

Powdered milk does not have any water in it, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
i know this but i ment u have to drink water daily..so u will have both....and actually most proteins say on the directions to take with water

192 lbs, 5'7". I work out about 1-2 times a week. Mainly just cardio and the basic machines. I think I'll be able to devote myself to working out more if I have an actual plan and some sort of reasonable goal.

And yes, I know I'm a fat ***, but I weighed 255-ish last January.

once again not an expert but i take NO Xplode before...syntha 6 after and LIpo-6 2 in moring and 2 in evening (just got lipo-6 so well see how that works out)

in my experience its all about moderation and variety in food (no cookies, cakes, ice cream, etc) and work out daily 3-6 days a week. and it will come off. the last 10 lbs of fat are a ***** to get off though. lot of cardio is key to fat loss as well as staying active during your workout. (dont do a set and then take a 5+ min break take lil 1 1/2 2 min breaks then do another set) gotta keep heart rate up so you burn calories.

well congrats on the weight loss...i am not trying to make u look bad or anything..i wouldnt put u down on working out..everyone has to start somewhere ..im 5 8 and i was 158 pounds last year at 6% body fat..i only weigh 143 now..but that is cuz i stopped working out....

well for u i would keep that cardio up...keep off of the heavy free weights for a while unless u just want to be big bulky guy...which isnt bad at all...but other wise i would prolly do a good cardio work out for about an hour a day 3 or 4 times a week...its not easy but u have to push ur self

i went from 185-150 (lost most the fat) and now im sittin at 175 and getting bigger //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Muscle is good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

and the more muscle you gain the more the muscle needs to function...aka...more fat loss.

Once I get myself actually dragged into the gym, I'm golden. I'm make sure to stay on the bike for at least 15 minutes with my heart rate at the cardio level.
