Peak Power on NVX VCW 15s

There is no peak power listed as it is impossible for NVX to know everything that is going on in your install. The actual peak will vary from one install to the next. Headroom is a good thing as long as you are smart with your gains.

Truth is power handling is very problematic. Most companies rate thier products in order to easy choose an amp while others rate them in the worse possible conditions. Its not a bad idea to put more tgan rated in clean power as it is as opposed to sending rated power but it be dirty..

To answer your question. Be mindful of what your doing..

If you are looking at peak power, you are in for a world of disappointment. Those are garbage numbers that should never be factored in any buying decision.

Also, If you are looking at peak power for an amp, chances are the amp is absolute junk. No respectable amp advertises peak power. Always go by rms, even then there are some amp companies that blatantly lie about that as well.

For future reference, If you blow subs just know that its not the subs that cant handle the power, its because your amp is weak and you turn things up because you arent satisfied with how loud it is and the sub blows from a clipped dirty signal. This is the case for almost all the blown subs out there. Always have more clean power than you need.
