i fixed postMaybe you didn't notice where the subtotal on that was $3895.00
So is my budget 3895.00 or something different? I will compile the list of parts when you tell me a final budget (same as what system I am comparing to)
http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/61054002/wo/hg7tLIuUprZN2npmpl61XhBUfFu/2.?p=0Me too, I need a link to what I am comparing to, to make sure that I at LEAST get what the mac has.
as said before the everyday person just cant go into a store and expect to know which components to pick up and put to gether. as with an Apple everything is made.Lol, I just briefly checked the specs, this is going to be so mind numbingly easy. Be back in a few with the list.
Mac integrated, not is trying to integrate, Intel chip due to the fact that the IBM and Motorola Power PC chips got really hot. That's why up until the Macbook and Macbook Pro came out the iBook and Powerbook were still running G4 Processors. IBM and Motorola couldn't seem to get the chips to run cool enough for a laptop. But my G5 iMac is still the coolest!!!Mac Sucks
Custom PCs own
end of story.
Why do you think Mac is trying to integrate Intel into it? lol
That's great! If you build it yourself. Now put yourself in an "average cunsumer's" shoes. You know, the people you would build a computer for, and tell us how much that system would cost. Because we all know **** well you're gonna mark it up more than $400 for assembly and programming. So, for the average consumer, Macs still win.Ok done, that was easier than I expected with the pathetic specs on that Mac.

Good catch! I don't either. And if you're gonna buy a case that even comes close to the style of a Power Mac or Mac Pro, you're gonna shell out at least $100.I dont see a case, nor do I see any fans? warranties?
id say a Lian Li case can compare with a G5 case. so thats atleast 200. plus a demand for power is called for i say atleast 500watts.Good catch! I don't either. And if you're gonna buy a case that even comes close to the style of a Power Mac or Mac Pro, you're gonna shell out at least $100.
