What was I doing to get the mac to crash? How about typing in Word? How about BROWSING files? More than half the time, they would crash while trying to do something on the Internet. Knowing what parts to buy and how to build a PC can go a long long way towards fixing stability issues. I am talking custom PCs here because every manufactured PC is complete and utter garbage (they all use the cheapest, worst parts possible).
No sorry this just isn't true. Give me a dollar amount and I will post the parts list for a PC that will CRUSH a similarly price Apple.

All non-basic function applications/programs running in the background can be disabled so there goes your Macs use less resources theory.

Will you include a case and how quiet the pc will be?

who wants a quiet PC, i put like 10 120mm vantec tornados in every machine i build.

Mac AND Microsoft can burn, I run Linux. It does everything I need and then some, without the cost of the Mac or instability of Windows. I can use any theme or desktop I want, or even go without one with no need to even restart the PC. I can launch programs by typing their name in a box and hitting enter which takes 1/4 the time to navigate a menu. I update every program I have, the operating system, and all drivers installed by typing three words in a console window. I have no Mac related false sense of security or "Genuine Advantage" given by Windows.

And my operating system was $10 on DVD.
