PC headset on PS3

Ive found a nice/cheap headset on the internet and it is for the pc. It has a usb conector. Would this be compatable with my PS3? I want to use it to communicate while im playing online.If so do you know of any good but not too expensive headsets that i might consider. I dont want to use bluetooth so please dont suggest that. Thanks.

It may work. Go to walmart or something and pick up a wired one. I think the one i got was 10 bux on sale when i first got my p3. I got myself a bluetooth one now though.
